Juventus will be looking for a spark from their reserves when they take on Cesena tomorrow.
The Turin giants go into Sunday's encounter at the Stadio Olimpico without 11 players through injury.
The Bianconeri were held to a goalless draw by Salzburg in Thursday's Europa League encounter, a result that left them still winless in the competition after four games played.
"I am more worried about the situation of our injured players than by our position in the Europa League,'' admitted Del Neri.
"We have many players out injured.''
The latest casualty was defender Nicola Legrottaglie, who sustained a muscular problem on Thursday evening.
Legrottaglie's injury is another headache for Del Neri with Juve already without defenders Giorgio Chiellini, Paolo De Ceglie, Zdenek Grygera, Armand Traore and Leandro Rinaudo.
"We hope to recover Legrottaglie in time for Sunday's game,'' said Del Neri. "Otherwise, I will have to invent my defence.''
One player who is expected to start on Sunday is defender Leonardo Bonucci.
He said: "The situation is difficult because it's hard to play every three days with the same players.''
To complicate matters, the Bianconeri are again without Milos Krasic, who is suspended.
Opponents Cesena will not take Juve for granted, with the Bianconeri having managed 15 points from nine games.
Juve won 2-1 at AC Milan last weekend to climb to fourth in the standings.
"The fact that they are struggling with injuries and that they will be tired from their Europa League game will be an advantage for us,'' admitted Cesena midfielder Stephen Appiah, who will face his former club this weekend.
"But Juve still remain a big team and even their substitute players can make an impact.
"Playing in Turin is never easy and we will have to be extremely careful.''
Cesena have clinched just one point in their last six games and have mustered just two wins since gaining promotion to the top flight this summer.Leave Your Comment About Match
